We have 3 still waters at present and all within close proximity to one another.
Chew Magna Resevoir.
Chew Magna reservoir provides excellent fly fishing for stocked Browns and Rainbow trout. Rainbows can be fished all year.
The largest catch trophy is often won from this lake. Parking is close to the lake and there are many stagings erected around the lake. Stocking to date this year is 1442 with more fish to go in. Catch rate was 1.33 fish per visit.
The 5 acre reservoir was created in the 1930s to supply water for villages in the Chew Valley. Knowle Angling were given permission to start fishing in 1956 when a section of the Upper Chew was flooded to create Chew Valley lake.

Publow
Publow was originally a Carp lake but now homes stocked Browns and Rainbows. Fed by a small stream this also offers fly fishing for Rainbows throughout the year. Stocking so far this year has been 485 with more fish to be stocked. Catch rate was 1.56 fish per visit.

Ackers
Ackers Pool is a man made spring fed lake offering easy access with its lakeside parking. Fly fishing for stocked Rainbows and Browns. Fishing for Rainbows continues throughout the year. Stocking so far this year is 569 trout. Catch rate was 1.68 fish per visit.
