Quill buzzer
Black Buzzer - We all know the "black buzzer", here is a version called the "quill buzzer", which is a personal favourite of mine. Best fished very slowly with a figure of eight or just cast out and let drift around slowly with slight breeze. Best fished spring/early autumn.

Blood Worm
Gold Head Blood Worm - Bloodworms are found in or near the muddy bottom , however they eventually emerge and swim up through the water layers. This pattern is for tempting the trout in the upper layers of water. Allow to sink very slowly as takes are very often taken on the drop. Retrieve slowly with twitching action sufficient to activate tail.

Fry Pattern
Fry Pattern - In every water small fish are usually in abundance and as this pattern immitates small fry it is a must for every fly box. Fished with slow pulls and the occasional erratic twitch will produce a savage take.

Black Buzzer
Black Buzzer - There are countless buzzer patterns of all shapes, sizes and colours. This version has proved to be successful on a number of our venues, Ackers in particular. Can be fished in a variety of ways - very slow figure of eight retrieve, allowed to drift with the breeze or fished under an indicator. Pattern supplied by C Elms.
