10/02/2008 - 2008 Fly Fishing Competitions announced
That's right the dates for the 2008 season has now been decided.
The first is our annual
KAA "sponsored" fly only competion and will be held on
June the 22nd "All Waters".
The second one is our annual
Thatcher's"sponsored" competition to be held on the
27th of July also on "All Waters".
The meeting place for both Competions will be at Chew Magna Resevoir at 8:30am.

26/01/2008 - Bank Clearing: Upper Chew River
Today saw approximately 15 KAA members attend the bank clearing session held on the Upper Chew River. This work that members carry out on a regular basis is imperative to the quality and surroundings of our fishing environment so please if you can come along and assist us with this ongoing activity. The dates for future Bank Clearing are on Calendar.
Thanks to the 15 plus members that did manage to make it along today, I am sure all will agree that it was a lovely day to be out in the country

No your eyes are not deceiving you, the website has changed dramatically!!!... I am a firm believer that a change is as good as holiday and changing this website is no acception. We hope to keep you up to date with whats going in and around our waters and welcome any contribution from members (articles, pictures etc...). Also if you have any feedback whatsoever regarding the website or ideas feel free to e-mail us via the "contact" link and let us know. Anyway enough said, have a great New Year... Tight Lines!

Application for membership to the club is now open again, however these are limited so send in your application form which can be downloaded from the "Membership" link and post it off to Keith Caddick to avoid dissapointment.
